Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyPathKeeper (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MyPathKeeper provides DNS-based content filtering and activity reporting for devices you enroll, so an authorized account holder can supervise and protect those devices.

2. Eligibility and authorized use

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You may use the Service only to monitor devices you own or are legally authorized to monitor, with any consent the law requires — for example as a parent or guardian of a minor, an employer of a company-owned device with proper notice, or under a court order. You must not use the Service for covert or unlawful surveillance, or to monitor anyone without the required authority and consent. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your monitoring.

3. Accounts

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Free trial and billing

We may offer a free trial (currently 3 days). If you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, paid protection features may be disabled. Paid subscriptions renew for the stated period until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and it takes effect at the end of the current period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate the rights of others or any law.

6. Intellectual property

MyPathKeeper and its software, content, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service per these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." No content filter is perfect; we do not guarantee that every harmful site will be blocked or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPathKeeper will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
