Privacy Policy

MyPathKeeper ("MyPathKeeper", "we", "us") provides consented, disclosed device monitoring and DNS-based content filtering. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Consent and authorization

MyPathKeeper is intended only for monitoring where the person setting it up has the legal authority and, where required, the consent to do so — for example a parent or guardian of a minor, an employer of a company-owned device with appropriate notice, or a supervising authority acting under a court order. By creating an account and enrolling a device, you confirm you have that authority and consent. MyPathKeeper is not for covert or unauthorized surveillance.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and, if provided, your name and the display names you give devices.
• Device information — device name, platform, and operating system for the devices you enroll.
• Activity data — the domains (websites) that enrolled devices request through our DNS service, whether a request was allowed or blocked, the content category, and timestamps. We do not see the full page contents of encrypted (HTTPS) sites — only the domain requested.

How we use information

• To provide the service: resolve DNS, apply filtering/blocking policy, and produce activity reports for the authorized account holder.
• To maintain and improve our domain-category intelligence (which sites fall into which categories).
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share:

• Site-level categorization data — a map of domains to content categories. This describes websites, not people, and contains no account, device, or individual browsing data.
• Service providers — vendors who host and operate the service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Data retention

We keep activity data for a limited period to power reporting, then remove or aggregate it. You can delete a device (and its history) at any time from your account.

Children's privacy

MyPathKeeper is a tool for adults (such as parents and guardians) to protect and supervise devices, which may be used by minors. Accounts are created and controlled by the adult account holder. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts, and monitored minors do not have MyPathKeeper accounts.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may access or delete your account data, remove devices, or contact us to request deletion of your account. Removing a device deletes its associated activity.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice.
